Abubakar Audu is a Property Consultant with the Firm who spent most of his career in construction and also specializes in Regional Planning. He graduated from Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria where he obtained both National Diploma in Architecture and Higher National Diploma in Regional planning respectively.
Prior to this he worked with National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Maiduguri office, Borno state in 1998 as an Assistant Project Officer, Head of Environmental Beautification Scheme. He was in charge of providing skilled labour to any government organization embarked on construction work and landscaping In the 1993 he was promoted to Senior Inspectorate office in charge of a zone to monitor all NDE projects. In 1996 he got an appointment with Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Abuja as Higher Technical Officer. He was deployed to Lugbe and Kado Estate as a Development Officer. He was then appointed as a member of Task Force for construction of Gwarinpa Housing Estate, Abuja one of the biggest housing estate in Afica. In the 1999 he had another appointment with Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) as an Officer (1) Project i.e the property department. There he was in charge of overseeing all the activities of the Property Managers handling the Funds Property and routinely on management status of the property. In 2001 he was promoted to Assistant Manager and was in charge of supervising the Fund’s Real Estate and Project Development, to inspect properties and recommend same to management for further action. He participated in construction of all the properties by the fund e.g a 12 storey building in Central Business District Abuja (tagged Labour House), Luxurious Gudu Housing Estate (24 units of duplex with court room, swimming pool etc.) and finally Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund’s Commercial Housing Estate, Mararaba, New Karu LGA, Nasarawa State. He was also recommended by the Management to be among the team assigned to Mortgage the properties.
